If you are close to giving birth to your child, you can (in coordination with your midwife) contact Omega Kraamzorg to have us send over a maternity nurse.
The maternity nurse will assist the midwife during labour and will remain with you for two hours after childbirth. Maternity care starts from the moment your child is born. You are entitled to approximately 49 hours of maternity care, spread out over eight days.
Under special circumstances, you may be entitled to 80 hours of maternity care (spread out over ten days).
Your health insurance company can provide you with more information regarding these circumstances.
